2 Year term - first as Vice President then second as President.
This person must be prepared to be President the following year. Likes to volunteer, help out committees when needed, assist President as needed. Attend bi-monthly meetings, help with PTO Budget once a year,
vote in decisions of the PTO Board, able to cover for President as needed. Train with the President for following year. |

Looking for an individual with great organizational skills willing to recruit volunteers to prepare food to serve to staff on various dates throughout the school year.
In the past, parents have prepared baked treats, breakfast foods and side dishes or main meals as a way of showing appreciation for the staff at JBN. The PTO Hospitality
Committee provides lunch for the teachers on the half day of school in early November during parent-teacher conferences, and provides treats on two or more other dates of
the committee's choosing during the year. The Hospitality Committee coordinator will work closely with the Staff Appreciation Week committee coordinator to supply meals
to staff twice during the first week of May. |

The PTO is in need of two individuals to come up with new ways for students and parents to show our gratitude to the staff at JBN the first week of May 2012.
Work with a group of volunteers and the Hospitality Committee to provide a week filled with signs of appreciation for all the staff at JBN does throughout the year. |
Walk-a-Thon

The Walk-a-Thon concept has been a great success at other Batavia schools, and JB Nelson is looking to try our hand at this low budget, high return fundraising opportunity.
Not only will the Walk-a-Thon raise funds needed to support our school, it will be a chance for our school community to come together and have fun. Information from the AGS
and HWS Walk-a-Thons is available to parents who are interested in getting this new fundraising concept off to a running start at JBN. The Walk-a-Thon is scheduled to take
place in April 2012. |
